109 Direct Top Up
Mascom (in conjunction with Barclays Bank, First National Bank, Standard Chartered Bank & VISA International) allows you to recharge and have the amount directly debited to your bank account. This service is available 24 hours a day and you can recharge from the comfort of your own living room (if you want).
This service is easy and convenient to use - all you need is a VISA or VISA Electron account with any of the banking partners detailed above. To enrol for this service simply dial 109 and follow the voice prompts.
What you need to enrol?
- A valid VISA Credit or Debit card from Barclays Bank, First National Bank or Standard Chartered Bank inclusive of your 16-digit VISA or VISA Electron number and your card expiry date.
- National Identity Number (Omang) for citizens. Expatriate customers need to visit one of Mascom Shops the first time they use the service.
Recharge another Phone Option
Prepaid clients are now able to recharge their friends and family with airtime. Payment is made directly from their bank account.
Now every prepaid client who registers and recharges their account using this service will receive an extra 10% freebie bonus of the value of the recharge. The 20% bonus which clients receive when they recharge before half the window period is also applicable.
