BlackBerry handsets that use BB OS7 do not require additional steps in order to send a CollectSMS. These handsets are BlackBerry 9220, 9320, 9360, 9370, 9380, 9720, 9790, 9810, 9850, 9860, 9900, 9930 and 9981.
Simply use 105071XXXXXX and send the intended message to the recipient.
For all other BlackBerry handsets not listed above, please follow the below easy steps to enjoy the CollectSMS service.
A. If you want to send a CollectSMS after previously sending a Normal SMS
1. Delete your last SMS’
2. Proceed with sending CollectSMS by
– sending the intended SMS contents to 105071xxxxxx
3. Delete the Collect SMS once it has been successfully sent to the recipient
4. The BlackBerry handset will now be ready to send either CollectSMS or Normal SMS on the next occasion of sending
B. If you want to send a Normal SMS after previously sending a CollectSMS
1. Delete the all the previously sent Collect SMS’
2. Proceed with sending the SMS as normal
3. Delete the normal SMS once it has been successfully sent to the recipient
4. The BlackBerry handset will be ready to send either CollectSMS or SMS (normal) on the next occasion of sending
