|The Ministry of Health & Wellness continues to roll out the COVID-19 Vaccine to different age groups across the country, Mascom has partnered with the Greater Francistown District Health Management Team (DHMT) for the drive through vaccination site scheduled for the 9 – 11th November 2021 at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown.
Our commitment to supporting and caring for the community during the Coronavirus pandemic is derived from our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) Pillars and aligned to our Crisis Response Plan to the pandemic which addresses the three (3) themes of: Care for Yourself, Care for your loved one’s and Care for your community. These have served as our guiding principles throughout the pandemic while we cogitate on the impact of the pandemic to our communities.
As a public interest entity and a proud responsible corporate citizen, Mascom is committed to the development of the telecommunications industry in Botswana. It is imperative that we protect the well-being of our communities and that we put in place measures to curb the spread of this pandemic. Mascom continues to evaluate ways to offer assistance and we pledge our support to work with the Botswana Government and all stakeholders to fight against the Corona Virus and appropriately contribute in the rollout of the Vaccines.
