MyTime Data Bundles Terms and Conditions

  1. All prices include VAT.

  2. Mascom MyTime is available to prepaid customers only.

  3. New subscriptions can only be effected once time purchased has been exhausted or expired.

  4. The time purchased starts counting at the time of a new data session after bundle purchase. There after the time will count until expiry based on the data sessions connected.

  5. Continued use of service(s) once a bundle has been exhausted will be charged using the out of bundle rate.

  6. Unused data will be forfeited. Data bundles should be used for the period in which the bundle is intended for.

  7. Subscribers are able to check their data bundle balance, dial *123#, choose MyTime Balance.

  8. If a customer number is deactivated from the network, any existing bundles will be forfeited.

  9. Should the subscriber migrate to a contract package while a balance exists in their prepaid data account, the remainder of the data package will be forfeited.

  10. Data transfer rates are not guaranteed and are dependent on network availability.

  11. If session started in-bundle, the bundle is depleted and subscriber buys a new bundle, then the new bundle becomes available in the same session.

  12. If session started out-of-bundle and subscribers buys a bundle, the bundle becomes available only from the next session.

  13. Should the subscriber migrate to another prepaid package while a balance exists in their prepaid data account, the remainder of the data account will not be forfeited.

  14. Bundles and tariffs only apply to standard APNs (wap.mascom and internet.mascom).

  15. Bundles and tariffs do not apply to data roaming.

  16. Download speed is on network availability.

  17. Prices are subject to change at the discretion of Mascom. Such changes in pricing will be communicated through the various media.

  18. The bundles may not be used for commercial purposes. Any use of this offer outside of what is considered reasonable for private, non- commercial use, and in instances through mechanisms and means not intended for personal use or the anticipated purpose of the offer, will be considered as abuse.

  19. Mascom Wireless reserves the right at any time to vary these terms and conditions or to withdraw the MyTime data bundle should it be required to do as a result of, or any changes to, the law. In such event, it is important that all subscribers who have activated the MyTime data bundle offer understand that they waive any rights that they may have against Mascom and hereby acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against Mascom, their directors, affiliates, members, partners, employees, sponsors, agents or consultants.

  20. In order to optimize network resources and manage a good customer experience for all, MyTime is subject to Fair Usage Policy. The MyTime fair usage policy is designed to ensure that all of our customers receive a fast and reliable service and is as below. It is a threshold-based fair usage policy allowing a user to access download speed of 1Mbps before reaching 1024MB per day. Thereafter the download speed is changed to 512Kbps.
